What does it take to be a legal and safe party bus company?
Here are just a few of the things you should be asking for or seeing for your own safety.
It takes a $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Policy on vehicles that hold over 16 passengers
It takes a $1,500,000.00 on vehicles under 15 passengers
It takes a Minnesota DOT Issued Cab Card
It takes a BY License Plate or PR Plates for Interstate
A US DOT Number for both Intrastate (In MN only) and Interstate (Out of MN)
A MC Number if Interstate (Out of MN) Authority
A Passenger Endorsement on Driver's License
Most Driver's License's need to be Class C, B or A and must have a passenger endorsement.
